With this knowledge, you have everything you need to deal with other people sustainably and successfully. Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman's work on our decision-making processes
forms the theoretical basis of this training. Principles of "non-violent communication" help you to deal empathetically with
colleagues, superiors or people from your private environment. Results of incident and accident investigations at sea, in aviation and in other safety-relevant
industries support Daniel Kahneman's theses. This knowledge is universally applicable to our general decision-making behavior.
Learn from Anne Haug how to translate new knowledge into sustainable behavior and achieve ambitious goals. Anne is a world-class professional athlete and sports
scientist. She is the first and so far only German woman to win the Ironman Hawaii Triathlon World Championship. Even after this victory, she is constantly setting herself new
goals and is working to achieve these goals.

Captain - Coach - Mentor - Advisor
Born in 1960, captain since 1998 and since 2016 working as a freelance trainer, coach and management consultant with the own company HORIZONS-Maritime Services.
What makes the difference?
I have the privilege of facing the end of my professional career. Therefore, I do not explain how you should do things. I share my experience as a Captain at sea with responsibility for up to 1000 people on board.
My mission: "Turning expertise into success!"
Turn competence into success! Lifelong - learning, passing on knowledge, sharing good and bad experiences. You don't have to make every mistake yourself to get smart....
I have been working as a Captain for more than 30 years and have gained extensive experience in all areas of the shipping business during this time. Over time, I have learned to stay calm and controlled even in difficult situations and to bring the ship and anyone onboard safely to their next destination.
In my career, I have not only mastered everyday challenges, but also successfully mastered non-routine and critical situations. These experiences I share to convey practical and solution-oriented approaches that also work in extreme situations.
As an instructor in shiphandling simulators I have trained many Captains and Nautical Officers to prepare them for their onboard tasks. Simulatorbased training is a state of the art training method to pass on knowledge in a practical and understandable way. This helps to prepare the participants in the best possible way for their challenges onboard.
Anne Haug told Welt am Sonntag:
If I were to do sports just because I want to be first, I think it's a short career and can be very frustrating. But if you set goals that you have in your own hands, in which your own performance is reflected and you see the fruits of your work – through your performance – then you can do it independently of everyone else. And that's something that drives me. My basic motivation is simply that I think: I can get better every day.
